MCP (Model Context Protocol) Integration ​

Overview ​

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that enables Tencent WorkBuddy to connect with external tools and services. Through MCP, you can extend Tencent WorkBuddy's capabilities with custom server integrations.

Adding MCP Servers ​

  1. Go to Settings → MCP
  2. Click "Add MCP Server"
  3. Enter the server configuration (URL, authentication details)
  4. For OAuth-based servers, complete the authorization flow
  5. Once connected, MCP tools become available in your conversations

Managing MCP Servers ​

  • Enable/disable individual MCP servers or specific tools
  • View connection status for each server
  • Configure authentication tokens and refresh settings
  • Remove servers you no longer need

OAuth Support ​

Tencent WorkBuddy supports MCP standard OAuth authorization, enabling secure connections to third-party services with automatic token refresh and reconnection.
