WorkBuddy · Transparency Disclosure
The connectors WorkBuddy ships with, the overseas entity you contract with for each of them, and where that provider stores or processes the data it receives.
WorkBuddy ships with a set of built-in connectors based on the Model Context Protocol (MCP). These are the default connectors: we select, integrate and maintain them, and they are the only third-party MCP connectors we make available to you out of the box.
A connector stays inactive until you turn it on. When you enable one and authorise it against your own account with that provider, WorkBuddy passes the data needed to carry out your instruction to that provider. From that point the provider handles your data under its own privacy notice and terms, as an independent controller of the data it receives.
The table below sets out, for each default connector, the overseas entity you contract with and where that provider stores or processes data, so that you can decide whether to enable it.
WorkBuddy also lets you connect a custom or self-hosted MCP server of your own choosing. Those connectors are not part of our default set. We do not select, review, integrate, test or monitor them, and we make no representation about the provider's identity, security posture, storage locations, cross-border transfers or lawfulness.
If you install or connect an MCP server that we do not supply, you do so on your own initiative and at your own risk, and you are solely responsible for it. That responsibility covers, among other things:
Nothing on this page transfers any of that responsibility to WorkBuddy, and this page is not an endorsement of, or a due diligence report on, any provider named below.

We add, replace and retire default connectors as the product develops, and providers change their own entity structures and storage locations. We will therefore update this list from time to time.
When we do, we will publish the revised list on this page and update the version shown above. Where an update is material to how your data is handled, for example a new default connector or a change in the country in which a provider stores data, we will also notify you through the product or by another means we reasonably consider appropriate, before or when the change takes effect, so that you can review it and decide whether to keep the connector enabled.
Please check this page from time to time for the current list.
