✨ New Features

Session-level Code Mode configuration

ACP hosts can choose Code Mode for each session (off / all). In full mode, the REPL calls internal tools uniformly; the value is locked after the first turn and replaying the same value stays idempotent. In Code Mode the REPL remains the mode entry point and is not affected by the host's tool selection.

Inline previews and desktop notifications in Web UI

• SVG images can be previewed and videos played directly in the conversation.
• Approval and question requests from remote sessions can be delivered as local desktop notifications, with tooltips on the action buttons.

Network self-healing for long tasks

The interactive terminal keeps reconnecting after a network drop until connectivity returns or Esc is pressed. Intervals grow through 1/2/4/8/16/32/64 seconds and then hold, with the reconnect notice, attempt count, and disconnect reason shown while waiting. Main tasks are no longer limited to 500 turns by default; --max-turns still applies.

Web UI subagent workbench and per-message Fork

Background and synchronous subagents now share the right-side workbench for execution details, presented like the main conversation. A Fork button next to message copy carries the context up to that message into a parallel sidebar task.

Reconnect MCP servers

stream-json adds a reconnect_mcp control request, reconnecting a configured MCP server without restarting the CLI and reporting completion once its tools are available.

🔧 Improvements

• PTC internal tool presentation: Code Mode shows waiting, running, completed, failed, and canceled states for internal tools as they are actually called, preserving the same call order when history is reopened.
• Long-session memory: Web UI releases memory for older messages while idle at the bottom and pages them back in on scroll-up; this does not trigger while running, awaiting confirmation, or viewing other panels.
• Input context menu: Adds cut, copy, paste, and select-all, with image and file paste, undoable cut, and platform-specific shortcuts.
• Channel auto-restore: After a daemon restart, previously enabled WeChat and WeCom connections are restored automatically; manually closed channels stay closed. Failures retry at a capped interval with visible status.
• Editor experience: Search-opened files on the editor page open directly in the editor; image preview and call-graph zoom are smoother and follow the cursor; code editor and diff scrolling keep up better.
• Auto review: Risk assessment and approval feedback are unified across regular tools, MCP, REPL, and background commands, with the effective policy available for inspection; the fast model is preferred with fallback to the original review model.
• Update prompt styling: The desktop "new version downloaded" panel is clearly actionable in both light and dark themes, and the session/task termination notice gets its own line.
• Model request headers: Requests to allowlisted partner model service platforms from custom model direct connections carry the identifiers needed for billing; other endpoints are unaffected.
• Reading comfort: Conversation body and user message text in Web UI is now 13.5px; secondary text is unchanged.

🐛 Bug Fixes

• No auto-continuation after stop: Fixed background task completion notifications starting a new turn after the user stops.
• Credits and request ID: Fixed per-turn credit usage and "Copy request ID" disappearing at the bottom of historical replies after a refresh or session switch.
• Scheduled task navigation: "View execution process and result" now opens the conversation that actually ran that turn, and existing records are corrected automatically.
• Cloud task titles: Fixed titles losing the user request when the opening message includes a skill reference.
• Localization: Fixed Chinese appearing in the English UI and English in the Chinese UI, with unified terms such as "Agent" and "Sign in".
• Subagent output: Fixed output records failing to write and losing subsequent content when switching worktrees during a background subagent run.
• Built-in browser: Login state now syncs after restart without repeated sign-in prompts, the black screen after import is fixed, and each session restores its last opened pages.
• Shared local SSH: Fixed relay state getting out of sync across multiple processes on the same device and failure to take over after the owning process exits.
• Fork rendering: Fixed sidebar Fork branches not matching the main conversation; branches now stream output and show complete tool cards.
• Memory guard: The model input memory guard now reclaims memory before deciding, so ample-memory sessions are no longer blocked incorrectly.
• New sessions: Fixed new sessions staying in "connecting" for a long time during snapshot sync.
• Auto review stability: Fixed residual REPL state after concurrent calls, one-time approvals being restored, and MCP rejection limits not ending the turn.
• Windows cold start: Fixed CLI crashes when the working directory is a network share (WebDAV/UNC) path.
• PowerShell command detection: Fixed read-only commands being misclassified as encoded commands when a path ends in something resembling an encoding flag.
• -p headless exit: Fixed background workflows always waiting the full 10 minutes; they now exit as soon as the workflow completes and print the summary.
• Terminal input integrity: Fixed trailing text being lost when submitting immediately after fast typing or pasting.
• Remote host connection: Fixed unhealthy background services that could not be replaced via "Stop and retry", which kept returning 502.
